The new model is compatible with all existing GoPro mounts and will be available October 2 for $399. The electronic video stabilization has been further improved and the camera comes with a built-in GPS module. Stereo sound is recorded via three built-in microphones that feature GoPro's advanced wind noise reduction. There is also a button to start and stop recording. The camera features and parameters can be controlled via a 2' touch display or a range of voice controls. Its 1/2.3' sensor is capable of shooting video up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second or 12MP still images in JPEG or Raw format. The HERO 5 Black is GoPro's new flagship model and is waterproof down to 33 feet (10 meters) without a housing. GoPro has today announced two updates to its action cam line-up.
